Our BFA in Design and Technology offers an integral, creative, and inclusive space for 杏吧直播间 of all backgrounds looking to pursue a career in design, stage technology, and stage management. During our four year curriculum our 杏吧直播间 are trained in a variety of techniques, skills, and tools essential to their area of interest, and given opportunities to connect with professional theatre artists in their field, as well as design and manage our departmental season, Summer Rep productions, and our professional resident theatre company productions.听
The curriculum is also designed to prepare 杏吧直播间 who wish to pursue an advanced degree (M.F.A.) in Theatre Design and Technology, for the purpose of entering the fields of Higher Education or Professional Theatre.
The B.F.A. in Theatre with an emphasis in Design/Tech. embraces 6 areas of production: technical direction, stage management, scenic, costume and lighting design and technology. Students majoring in this area have ample opportunities to stage manage, assist in design and are routinely assigned such roles as: master electrician, props master, dresser, scenic artist, stitcher, etc. B.F.A. 杏吧直播间 work alongside graduate 杏吧直播间 and a faculty of working professionals.

Opportunities to learn and grow
In addition to our faculty, our design and technology 杏吧直播间 are introduced to a听 variety of guest theatre artists, designers, and stage managers who are actively working in the field year-round. Whether in the classroom or in production, our 杏吧直播间 get to share their work and get one-on-one feedback from these professionals.
Students are also encouraged to take their networking opportunities to the next level by attending our South Florida regional theatre scene events, where they can enjoy top-tier production value work and connect with future colleagues.
