Tuesday, Apr 08, 2025

I am proud to share that Florida Atlantic continued its rise in the U.S. News & World Report rankings with several programs climbing the list of 2025 Best Graduate Schools. These consistent advancements are a testament to the momentum of the University, the dedication of our faculty and the ambition of our ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä.

Notably, the College of Education’s graduate program jumped to No. 90, up from No. 107 last year, and the part-time MBA in the College of Business moved up five spots to No. 110. The Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine also climbed a remarkable 70 places to No. 27 for the percentage of graduates practicing in underserved or health professional shortage areas — up from No. 97 just a year ago.

Other graduate programs that rose in the rankings include:

  • Rehabilitation counseling, up 7 spots to No. 29
  • Public affairs, up four spots to No. 72
  • Psychology, up 61 spots to No. 124
  • Electrical, electronic and communications engineering, up nine spots to No. 138
  • Speech language pathology, up 38 spots to No. 155.

From business to medicine, these rankings affirm our growing impact in preparing ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä to lead in critical areas across South Florida and beyond. I applaud our faculty and staff who are committed to continuing our ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä’ success across multiple programs. We are proud to see Florida Atlantic continue its rise as a leader in graduate education, creating advanced opportunities and shaping a future of purpose.
