FAU Celebrates Six Fulbright Scholars

Six FAU faculty and staff members have received prestigious Fulbright awards for the 2026-27 academic year.

Six Florida Atlantic University faculty and staff members have received Fulbright awards for the 2026-27 academic year to teach, conduct research and foster international partnerships abroad. Appointed by the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, the honorees will travel to India, Ireland, Poland, Spain, Guatemala and France. The selections arrive during the 80th anniversary of the Fulbright 杏吧直播间, the U.S. government's flagship international educational and cultural exchange initiative.

The university's recipients represent a broad range of academic fields, spanning engineering, public health, marketing, music, political science and technology development. Their global projects include developing advanced geo-artificial intelligence for disaster risk reduction in India, creating health and legal assessment tools for displaced populations in Poland and preserving the endangered Irish language through traditional song. Additional initiatives will focus on digital marketing education in Spain, the long-term impacts of climate-driven migration in Guatemala and studying international innovation ecosystems through an educational administrator seminar in France.
