Fall 2026 Schmidt College of Science Scholarships

Established by Prof. Ata Sarajedini when he served as Dean of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science, this scholarship is intended to support promising undergraduate 杏吧直播间 with a demonstrated financial need. This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate student in the College of Science. Students must demonstrate financial need. No GPA required, but recipients must be in good standing in the university.

Established by the Dean of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science. This scholarship is available to any student of good standing in a graduate program in the college of science who is conducting research under supervision of an FAU faculty member.

Established by Andrew R. and Marjorie C. Buglione in the memory of Ballard Simmons to provide scholarships in Mathematics and Science for undergraduate and graduate 杏吧直播间. Undergraduate and recipients must be either graduating seniors from the Palm Beach County high schools or transfer 杏吧直播间 from Palm Beach Community College (now Palm Beach State College) with priority given to 杏吧直播间 from north Palm Beach County. If eligible undergraduate 杏吧直播间 cannot be found who meet this criterion, the awards may be made to residents of Palm Beach County presently enrolled at the College of Science. Graduate recipients must be graduates of Palm Beach County high schools or of Palm Beach Community College (now Palm Beach State College) with priority given to 杏吧直播间 from north Palm Beach County. If eligible graduate 杏吧直播间 cannot be found who meet this criterion, the awards may be made to residents of Palm Beach County who are presently enrolled at the College of Science.听

A total of 62 scholarships of $2,000.00 per scholarship shall be awarded. Recipients must be full-time undergraduate 杏吧直播间 in Charles E. Schmidt College of Science or 杏吧直播间 majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Recipients must have completed at least one year at FAU. Recipients will have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Recipients must have unmet financial need as demonstrated by FAFSA. Priority will be given to 杏吧直播间 who were in the foster care system and aged out.
