The second year is a time to make intentional choices about your academic path, interests, relationships, and future goals. Whether you are exploring research and internships, strengthening your skills, or finding new ways to connect, the Second-Year Experience can help you build confidence and prepare for continued success.

This is your year to explore, engage, and make your college experience your own.

For this initiative, a second-year student is anyone currently enrolled in their second academic year at Florida Atlantic. This designation is based on the length of time you have attended the university, regardless of the number of credits you have earned or your anticipated graduation date.

If this is your second year at Florida Atlantic, this experience is for you!

Your second year deserves a tradition of its own!

Beginning this academic year, the Second-Year Retreat will bring ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä together for a day of connection, fun, and shared experiences. Designed specifically for ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä in their second academic year at Florida Atlantic's Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, this annual retreat will offer a welcoming space to strengthen friendships, meet new people, and build a greater sense of belonging.

This year, ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä will spend the day at Urban Air Adventure Park, enjoying activities that encourage teamwork and connection outside the classroom.

Whether you come with friends or are ready to make new ones, the Second-Year Retreat is your opportunity to create memories and help launch a tradition that future second-year ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä can look forward to each year.
